Meet WCAI: Women of CAI.

What is WCAI?

WCAI is CAI's employee resource group dedicated to providing education, resources, support, and networking opportunities that enable the professional and personal growth of women at CAI. But it's more than a mission statement. WCAI is a community where women across the organization connect, learn from one another, celebrate each other's successes, and push one another to reach their full potential.

How WCAI supports growth

WCAI stays active year-round with programming that covers both professional development and personal connection. Here's a look at some of what the ERG offers:

Mentorship program: WCAI's flagship initiative pairs members across the organization with mentors who can help guide their career growth, with access to training materials through CAI's LMS.
Professional certifications: PMI, ITIL training opportunities, and LinkedIn Learning licenses help members build skills and credentials that advance their careers.
Learning and networking events: Speaker sessions, spotlights on women at CAI, a caregivers discussion group, and a book club create space for conversation and connection.
Well-being and community: Virtual yoga sessions, trivia nights, cookie making, wine tastings, and sessions with CAI's financial advisor support the whole person, not just the professional.

The mentorship program in particular is something all three of our Steerco members highlighted as a point of pride. One member shared that "it's helped many women learn and grow in their career here at CAI." A past mentorship participant added that "it allowed me to meet a wonderful mentor that I may not have otherwise crossed paths with. With everyone working virtually, it is more important than ever to assist women in making connections with other women."
